Students in Chemistry conducted flame emission spectroscopy on eight different metal salts. Using this information and the color of the flame they were able to identify the same metal salts without knowing metal's identity. Technology used in this lab included a Vernier Spectrophotometer outfitted with an optical cable. The spectrophotometer was connected via Bluetooth to their Chromebooks for graphical analysis.

Help us learn about the world! This win-win fundraiser helps not only you, but also twelve very deserving students learn how to be more global citizens through their trip to Panama in the summer of 2024. We'll be seeing amazing engineering, speaking Spanish with host families, exploring tropical environments, and learning about a culture other than our own! Help us reach our goal and save money too by buying a car wash card today. Thank you / Gracias!

Good morning everyone,
I thought I would update you on changes to the live stream for this winter and moving forward. Instead of using our Clintonville Athletics YouTube Channel, we will be moving to our fan.hudl.com page. This will be more of a one stop shop for our streaming of athletic events, as other schools who utilize this will automatically generate into our schedule. This makes things easier for everyone rather than trying to search through various YouTube channels for the proper stream (although you may still have to for now). FYI - there is also an app (Hudl Fan) where you can add CHS as a favorite school and watch on whatever device you would like.
Our student athletes would love to see you all come support at our games in person, but if you're not able to make it you can still watch and support from home or wherever you are.
Go Truckers!
Shaun

On behalf of the High School Sources of Strength Program, we would like to thank Clintonville VFW Post 664 for their generous donation to the prevention program! Your kindness and generosity really makes a difference for helping us to provide prevention programs like these!

FCCLA Officers (Chloe Brzezinski, Olivia Kriewaldt, Jordan Jaskolski, Haven Herter, Marley Tauferner) attended the Fall Leadership Conference at UWSP. Student sessions were led by state officers and included dressing for success, navigating canva and instagram reels, creating gratitude cards for our troops, and learning about/playing budgeting & saving games.

District Family Title Night and Trick or Treating Moved Indoors 2023-10-26
We are still going to host our District Wide Family Night and Trick or Treating but the event will be moved indoors due to the forecasted rain and the safety and comfort of the participants. Please park in the front of the High School and use the main entrance to enter the event. We have worked hard to create an indoor version of the walking trail that will maintain the fun activities. Yes, there will still be pumpkins for families to take home and decorate!
The event will be on October 26th from 5:00 - 7:00 pm in the High School.
