MESSAGE FROM SUPERINTENDENT

My name is Mr. Troy Kuhn and I am excited to be the Clintonville School District Superintendent. I truly believe in this district and the opportunities it has for students and staff. As a rural community, I believe we need to provide educational pathways for students, spark their interests, and allow students to learn how to be respectful and contributing citizens to the Clintonville Community and surrounding areas.

My educational journey truly began at Gresham Community School District as a 6-12 Science teacher. In 2016 I was hired as Associate Principal at Keshena Elementary School and the following year as Clintonville Middle School Lead Principal. Just as when I was principal at the middle school, I will continue to work with faculty, parents, and students in helping students learn and achieve their dreams. Student focus will be placed on the whole person (social, academic, emotional, and mental).

I am a 1999 graduate of Plymouth High School and a four sport varsity letter recipient (Football, Basketball, Track, Baseball). I attended my undergraduate at St. Norbert College majoring in Biology/Broadfield Science and 6-12 education. I received my Masters of Arts in Education from Marian University and am currently enrolled in their Doctorate of Education Studies. I am very experienced in technology (former technology director), anti-bullying, building caring communities, restorative practices, trauma informed care, and understanding the diversity of student demographics/cultures.

I am a proud father of two children. My wife Danielle is an accountant at Kerber Rose and Associates. We enjoy being outdoors, especially deer and bear hunting. Other activities that we participate in are: four-wheeling, snowmobiling, family board game nights, or working at the farm (food plots, checking deer cameras, pumpkin patch). We love to learn about the world, therefore, the History and Discovery Channels are regularly watched.

My stress relieving down time is spent outdoors, sitting in a hunting stand with my family, or watching the fish and corals in my saltwater fish tank.

I hope that by working together we can improve each other, and most importantly improve our students, academically, emotionally, mentally, and physically. Let us together focus on student growth and success and to allow them to achieve their dreams!

As a district we are grateful for the support and feedback we receive from our community in providing our students with the best learning opportunities possible in assisting them in becoming College, Career, & Community Ready!

Please feel free to contact me anytime at 715-823-7215 ext. 2604 or tkuhn@clintonville.k12.wi.us.
