Clintonville Students Help Repair Damaged Cannon!
Caz Muske, Clintonville City Administrator, and Chad Froh, Clintonville Public Works Department, present Mr. Bertwin Lord, VoTech teacher, and welding student Allyson Schwietzer with a donation of $400 for their work on restoring the wagon wheels on the City of Clintonville’s WWI artillery cannon on loan from the US Department of Defense. Mr. Lord’s Construction and Welding classes worked on the cannon to restore the broken spokes, replace a missing bracket, and coat the cannon wheels with a protective coating to stave off further damage.
