It is with great enthusiasm that I announce my transition from Associate Principal at Clintonville Middle School to the Director of Curriculum, Instruction & Assessment for Clintonville Public Schools. After obtaining my Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from Carthage College in 2010, I began my teaching career in Green Bay Area Public Schools. For three years, I became much more proficient in my Spanish skills during my role as a Bilingual 3rd and 5th grade teacher. During this time, I received my English as a Second Language certification as well as my Bilingual/Bicultural certification from University of Wisconsin Oshkosh. From there I moved on to New London School District as a K-4 Bilingual and EL teacher for three years. It was during this time that I went back to UWO to obtain my Masters in Educational Leadership and Principal certification. My desire to move to the middle school level led me to Greenville Middle School in the Hortonville Area School district for five years as an EL teacher and a 7th grade English Language Arts teacher. I loved working with middle school students so much that I ended up here in Clintonville this past year as the middle school Associate Principal. 

My experiences are diverse and expand over all grade levels K-8. I have been a part of distinctly different districts and I have a solid understanding of what it takes to increase student achievement. All of my efforts in this new role will go towards one major goal – set the bar for ALL students to achieve high levels of success, and do what it takes to get them there. We are in the midst of some pretty big shifts and initiatives here in Clintonville and I am excited to continue that growth with administrators, teachers, staff, students, families, and the community.

I want you to know what is going on in our district every step of the way.
