Terrence's message to parents was "SHAME." Love yourself and others. Be that person for your children, always give them love. Don't ever turn your back on others because of hardships or shame. Build up yourself and others around you! Sources of Strength also did a brief presentation.

6th graders recently went to the school forest to do a variety of different activities. One of the activities was shelter building. Using what they found in nature, they were to construct a shelter that would keep them safe in the elements! They all did a great job and had a lot of fun!

Each year, tens of thousands of volleyball players, coaches and families across the country join together to host fundraising events for breast cancer awareness. Our volleyball team is working with The Side-Out Foundation's Dig Pink Movement and ThedaCare Family of Foundations, which are both 501(c)(3) non-profit organizations to join the fight against cancer. The sport of volleyball, through its efforts, is driving change in the way that breast cancer is treated. Less than five percent of breast cancer research funding goes toward metastatic breast cancer which makes the Dig Pink campaign focus on research for metastatic disease unique and very important. ThedaCare Family of Foundations, through donor dollars, provides services to local patients such as gas cards, camisoles for mastectomy patients, cosmetology services such as skin care, scalp care, hair shaving, and wigs. All services through ThedaCare Family of Foundations are free of charge to alleviate some stress on patients and their families in their fight against all stages of breast cancer. Please attend tonight's game and if possible, support the fight against Breast Cancer!

6th grade students in Ms. Firnstahl's class completed a science project on atoms. Groups created their atoms using various materials. They also practiced counting the number of protons, neutrons and electrons for their atoms. Then they presented their projects in front of the class. Everyone did a great job!

Thank you all of our hard working staff that instruct ART curriculum. Arts in education is so important for our students quality of life, their mental health, and many other skills. Not to mention the importance of understanding the world around us that is filled with art and music wherever we go. Can you even imagine a world without different building designs, colors, no melodies, background music, etc?

Clintonville Welcomes Eric Jensen. I am thrilled to join the teaching staff at Clintonville Middle School this year! Teaching has always been my passion. I’ve been happily married to my wife, Danielle, for 29 years, and we are proud parents to five wonderful children, ranging in age from 11 to 27. Originally from California, I’ve been calling Wisconsin home for the past five years. In addition to 26 years of experience as a Pastor, I’ve also had the pleasure of teaching students from elementary through middle school. Of all the grades I’ve taught, 8th grade holds a special place in my heart! I have a deep love for travel and have explored a variety of countries, including Turkey, Romania, Norway, Sweden, Mexico, Canada, Belize, Brazil, and Cambodia. My passion for learning extends beyond the classroom—I’ve studied German, Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Farsi, Norwegian, and Portuguese. For me, learning is a lifelong adventure. When I'm not traveling or studying languages, you can find me diving into history and Sci-Fi books and movies, or enjoying video games. My favorite games include Assassin's Creed, Black Ops, Minecraft, and anything with zombies! I look forward to meeting all the families and students this year and embarking on this exciting journey together!

Clintonville School District Welcomes Cole Pinno, Hi all, my name is Cole Pinno (he, him, his). I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Whitewater with a degree in English Literature in 2018. Continuing my passion for higher education, I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee with a master's degree in Adult, Continuing, Higher Education Administration in 2020. I am an avid reader, netflixer, and hiker. While I enjoyed my time in higher education and serving college students, I felt a call to work with students in the k-12 environment. I am eager to work with high school students. I want students to know I value their individuality, work, and voices. I look forward to working and learning alongside students during their educational journey.

Welcome to the District - Lexi Retzlaff - Director of Pupil Services and Special Education Hi Everyone! I’m Lexi Retzlaff, the new Director of Special Education and Pupil Services for the Clintonville Public School District. From a young age, I developed a strong advocacy for students with disabilities. Having a mom who was an educator, it was no surprise that both my sister and I entered the field. Every day I have the opportunity to engage with students, families, and community members, making sure that our students with disabilities receive a fair and appropriate public education. I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from St. Norbert College. I attended the Chicago School of Professional Psychology for my education specialist degree. While in graduate school, I worked as a special education teacher in Green Bay. After completing my program, I became a school psychologist for CESA8. Most recently, I worked for CESA9 as an Associate Director of Student Services serving multiple small, rural districts with their special education needs. I live in Shawano with my husband, Jon, and three children, Addie, Teddy and Ainsley. We live on a small dairy farm with registered Brown Swiss. Summers for us are spent preparing our animals for shows, baking, planting and maintaining flower beds, and repairing “vintage” farm equipment. When we have a moment to spare, we are near water, spending time with friends and family.
