Sources of Strength has been a great success at Clintonville. Not only do students learn about self regulation, coping skills, and resiliency, but they are also trained on how to help and support others. Some pics from the recent training.

During the last 2 weeks, students in General Construction class were able to help build little kid picnic tables for Mother Goose Day Care after they had a fire. With help from Torborgs Lumber, who donated all the lumber and screws, we were able to build 4 picnic tables! The students worked together in groups to follow building plans and divided up responsibilities to get the job done.

High School Girls Leadership Conference On October 3rd, six students from Clintonville High School participated in the first-ever High School Girls' Leadership Conference sponsored by NEW SAGE Strategies. LLC was held at the Resch Center in Green Bay. This transformative experience gave these young women opportunities for growth, learning, and inspiration on their leadership journey. At the conference, there were 371 student participants,457 participants, and a total of 26 school districts from around Wisconsin who attended the conference. Student participants reported that they learned that they can do anything they put their mind to, listen to the negative voices in their heads, and not give up and know their worth. The student leaders have already met and are making plans for spreading lessons learned throughout Clintonville High School. Staff plan on involving additional student leaders next year. The school and community deeply appreciate the support that made it possible for these students to attend, connect with peers, and be empowered. Together, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders and shaping a brighter future. This conference was a valuable step in that important work. Keynote Speakers: Flying Through Fear: How Vulnerability Fuels Success- Michelle Curran Tame Your Inner Critic: Ali Starr Beyond the Finish Line- Finding Your Inner Champion: Leah Jantzen
