Clintonville School District Welcomes Caleb Bembenek as Activities Director
My name is Caleb Bembenek, and I am excited about the opportunity of being the Activities Director here at Clintonville. I am very passionate about co-curriculars and how they help shape our youth into adults. There are alot of life lessons to be taught and learned and I look forward to helping in the development of our students.
I graduated high school in 2014 from Rosholt, where I was an active 3 sport participant. After high school, I went to Fox Valley Tech, and received a degree in Wildland Firefighting. Shortly before I was headed west, I tore my ACL and during recovery I decided to follow another passion of mine which is teaching. I went to UWSP for my bachelors in teaching Physical Education as well as Health Promotions and Wellness.
Outside of work, I have a lot of “hobbies” bowling, darts, pool, softball and baseball. I'm sure I will be cutting back on these and my fiance will likely be in favor of that.
I have a growing family that supports me through everything. Fiance Morgan works in Waupaca, and my son Knox 2 ½, well he does what any normal 2 year old boy does and that's cause chaos. He is looking forward to being an older brother sometime late December to early January.
I am excited about the new opportunity and I look forward to helping build future leaders of Clintonville.

Clintonville School District Welcomes Matt Parkansky as CMS/CHS Associate Principal
Hello, my name is Matt Parkansky and I am very excited to join the Clintonville School family! I have spent 16 years in education, making sure that all students can learn at a high level. I can't wait to share my passion for learning with all the new students that I meet.
My story is unique because it only involves one school. I grew up in a small town, Wausaukee, and had my 4k-12 experience at Wausaukee school. After attending UW Green Bay, I was fortunate enough to student teach and then get hired by the district as a middle school / high school teacher. After 14 years in the classroom, I was hired as the 4K-8 principal. It was a neat experience to have relationships with people as their student, their peer, and then their administrator.
When not working in education, I love spending time with my family. My family is my number one priority and I love doing everything with them. My wife, Angela, is an elementary school counselor in Oconto Falls. My son, Carson, attends Oconto Falls and is going into second grade this school year. My parents both live in Wrightstown and my sister lives in Los Angeles and is a producer and editor on various documentaries. Her movies have been seen on PBS, Fox Sports, and Netflix.
My family and I love anything Disney and have been to both Disneyland and Disney World. I am a huge fan of auto racing as well. I used to drive Super Late Model racecars throughout Wisconsin and Upper Michigan for about ten years. I am a diehard NASCAR follower, but am starting to get into F1 and IndyCar as well. I also enjoy keeping up with Wisconsin sports teams (Packers, Bucks, Brewers). Lastly, I am an avid Marvel comic reader and love watching the movies and shows of the MCU.

Zach Johnson wins the Fox Communities Credit Union "Save to Save Challenge"!
4 juniors in Personal Finance (Unique Erikson, Emmalee Huebner, Addison Lundt, and Zach Johnson) participated in a "Save to Save Challenge" this semester. The “Save to Save Challenge” is a 15-week program where students will demonstratethe ability to systematically save by depositing $10 per week into a savings account oftheir choice. At the end of the 15 weeks, students show proof of deposits to their teacher by supplying a screenshot of their bank statement. If they completed the challenge their names were put into a pool to draw one lucky winner and Fox matched their contributions. Dani Oudenhoven from our Clintonville branch presented a certificate and check.

CPSD thanks Tony Tagliapietra and his wife Becca for their generous donation of 3 drills, 3 impact drivers and 2 Sawzalls to our woodshop. Tony reached out a couple months ago seeing if we needed any tools and I told him we could use some Drills. He came through for us with all of that!

Our Pet & Companion students have been hands-on, practicing their grooming skills with some very patient (and adorable!) staff dogs! All work is supervised and done with care!

The Clintonville Forensics Team competed at State at UW- Madison on April 11th. As a team consisting of solo and duo entries, our medal count was 2 gold, 7 silver, 4 bronze.

All students in Mr. Nighbor’s Health 10 classes have gone through the DPI required training in “Hands-Only CPR” and AED use. Students took a short “field trip” around the CHS/CMS campus and located each of the AED’s available to them during the school day. Students then completed both a written and skills assessment at the end of the unit to demonstrate their understanding of the content. Exactly 100 students completed the training between the first and second semester classes this year.

Reminder that at tonight's Boys Basketball game we are doing "Salute to Service." If you would like to participate in the theme, please wear white for "White Out" or Red, White, and Blue. Hope to see you there.
