Thank you for your interest in the Clintonville Public School District. We offer a quality education for children in 4K to 12th grade — youth who live in our schools’ boundaries and students outside the district who wish to join through the state’s Open Enrollment program. Our 4-year-old kindergarten is a half-day program; 5-year-old kindergarten is full day.

If your child will be 3 years old as of September 1, 2020 and you plan to enroll your child in 4K or Kindergarten in the next two years, please contact the Dellwood Early Learning Center. This helps us identify children who may need special services prior to entering school. It also gives us the opportunity to provide parents with recommendations about preparing their child to begin school successfully.

Non-residents via Open Enrollment

Enrolling students 4K-12

  1. Identify your child's school.
    1. Dellwood Childcare Center: Childcare
    2. Rexford-Longfellow Elementary School: 4K to 4th graders
    3. Clintonville Middle School: 5th to 8th graders
    4. Clintonville High School: 9th to 12th graders
  2. Complete the necessary forms.
    1. Forms can be obtained from your child's school office. You may pick them up in person, or you can request to have them mailed to you.
  3. Bring the completed forms to the school your child will attend.

You will also need to bring your child's birth certificate and proof of residency (a current bill with your name and residence such as tax, utility, phone, cable).

NOTE: If you are enrolling a child to the high school, it is very helpful to bring transcripts and current classes/grades.

Clintonville participates in the state’s Open Enrollment program, in which residents can apply to attend a district other than the one in which they reside.

The time period to apply for the 2020-21 school year is from February 3, 2020 through 4:00 p.m. on April 30, 2020.

Click here to view the 2020-2021 Open Enrollment Regular Application Brochure.

Applications will be available online here starting February 3, 2020. Although on-line application is recommended, paper applications may be obtained from the state Department of Public Instruction and must be delivered (hand delivery is recommended) to the nonresident school district.
