Dorothy (from the Wizard of Oz) stated, “There is no place like home.” I happen to agree with her. After working outside of the district for the past 27 years (as an educator and principal), I have returned to my roots as a Clintonville Trucker. I graduated from Clintonville in 1987. I am proud of the education that I received at Clintonville and hope to provide that same quality education to students in the district.

Our school offers a comprehensive curricular and co-curricular program for our students (which helps prepare them academically, behaviorally, emotionally, and socially to be contributing citizens. We offer a variety of Advanced Placement, CAPP, and Dual Credit courses. We also have a wide variety of opportunities so student may explore their interests.

The motto at Clintonville High School is “Excellence, Effort, and Ethics – Every Student, Every Day”. The faculty and staff at CHS believe that by promoting excellence, honoring effort, and encouraging ethical behavior on a daily basis, we are preparing our students for the many challenges that they will face after graduation. We operate on a growth mindset and, regardless of where our students are when they enter our doors, we will help them grow into lifelong learners.

If you every have any questions about our high school (or just want to say hi), please contact me at kzeinert@clintonville.k12.wi.us OR 715-823-7215 ext. 2203. I think that it goes without saying, “Once a Trucker – always a Trucker.”

Kelly Zeinert
9-12 Grade Principal

I am honored and excited to be your new Associate Principal! We will have a busy year ahead as we explore, grow and get to know each other. I am committed to working closely with students, families, teachers and staff to provide the best education for all students.

Let me share a few things about myself. This past school year I served as the Associate Principal for Ashland High School and the K-12 Summer School Principal. Prior to that I was a Spanish teacher in the Shawano School District for 14 years, serving on many committees and always striving to improve student learning and success. I was the Principal at Hillcrest Primary for the Summer School program in 2016 and 2017. My husband and I have two daughters, Brittany a graduate of UW-Stout and Maddigan who is a 7th grade student. I’ve coached youth soccer and Destination Imagination, volunteered at many school and community events and am always exploring emerging technologies – trying to stay one step ahead of students! I designed and taught the Mentoring New Teachers class, Fast Fun and Formative Digital Assessment & Performance Task Development and Breakout.edu boxes at the Summer Tech Academy and brought UWGB dual-credit classes to SCHS.

I have Bachelor's Degrees from UW-Stevens Point in Spanish Education and Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and Advertising. I earned my Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Viterbo College. One of my hobbies is photography - my nickname is “Kodak Kim!” I also enjoy gardening and landscaping, as well as painting and scrapbooking.

I have high expectations for myself and value feedback. I want this to be a successful, productive, and challenging year of learning for all of us. Communication and collaboration are important keys to a successful year.

My door is always open and I am willing to listen. I look forward to meeting you! Please stop in and say "hello" when you have a chance if I have not stopped you in the hall to get acquainted!
