I'm Mrs. Bachman, Elementary School Counselor at Clintonville Elementary. I have been at Clintonville Elementary since 2003. I received my Bachelor's degree in Psychology with a Human Services emphasis and graduated from UW Stevens Point. After completing my Bachelor's degree, I got my Master's degree in Pre-K - 12 School Counseling from UW Stout.

My elementary counseling program consists of bi-weekly K-5 classroom lessons, small group counseling and individual counseling.

Classroom Lessons are centered around the following themes:

Appreciating Diversity
Career Exploration
Protective Behaviors
Character Education

Some of the Small Group counseling themes are:

Family Change-Divorce, Separation etc.
Anger Management
Social Skills
Friendship
Feelings Exploration
Self-Esteem

For individual counseling: students can refer themselves. Parents, teachers or other caregivers can also refer.
