Nick Brock

Students and families of Clintonville Middle School,

I, Nick Brock, am thrilled to accept the position as new building  Principal of Clintonville Middle School. I emphatically believe that CMS is a very special place with an amazing staff that recognizes the importance of meeting students’ needs not only academically, but socially  and emotionally as well. All of us at CMS recognize that building positive, supportive relationships is the cornerstone of providing students with a great educational experience.

I began my career at Seymour High School in 2006, as a cross-categorical special education teacher. Two years later, I relocated to Clintonville High School and have been a proud Trucker ever since. In 2018, I took my first administrative position as Associate Principal of Clintonville Middle School. I have found the last three years to be extremely rewarding. I truly enjoy building relationships with students, parents, staff and community members, and working together to find solutions.

I graduated from Oshkosh West High School in 1999, although I did the majority of my growing up in Columbus, Indiana. I was extremely involved in music and theater participating in the annual musical, madrigals, solo and ensemble, forensics, and the annual state one act play festival. I received my Bachelor’s degree from UW-Stevens Point with a major in Communication and a minor in Sociology. I then received a Master’s in Special Education from UW-Oshkosh, followed by certifications in Educational Leadership and Director of Special Education and Pupil Services from Viterbo University. I have worked with students with a variety of disabilities including learning disabilities, emotional and behavioral disabilities, autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, and more.

I have two children who will both be students at CMS this fall, Brogan, in fifth grade and Brynnley in seventh. My wife, Kristin, is the EL coordinator for the Clintonville district. When we are not at school, we love spending time outdoors including hunting, fishing, four-wheeling, and snowmobiling.

I look forward to continuing with a collaborative approach to the building principal position. Clintonville is a phenomenal place to raise a family, and the Clintonville Public School District provides our students with amazing and unique educational opportunities. I am honored to be a part of the leadership team that will move our district forward and best prepare our students to be successful, contributing members of the community.
