2019-2020 Academic School Year Suspended

2019-2020 Academic School Year Suspended

Clintonville Public School District Communication

4-17-2020

Dear Clintonville Families:

I hope this communication finds you safe and healthy. Although it did not come as a surprise to many, yesterday's announcements by Governor Evers still resulted in emotion and additional questions to all of us. The Safer-At-Home order being extended through May 26th and schools remaining closed through the remainder of the 2019-20 school year will continue to impact us into the summer months.

Next week the Administrative Team will meet to begin planning for the remainder of the academic school year. At this time, we will continue with learning packets and meal distribution. Home communication will become even more important as we share transition plans and dates to our students and families for such things as returning student items, continued learning expectations for the remainder of the school year, scholarship and class awards, and very importantly - when will a graduation ceremony take place.

Furthermore, we are continuing to plan for summer school with registration now open through April 30th. Information is available on the district website.

We continue to recognize that these current times are challenging for our students and families, especially the senior class, as they will not have a traditional closure to the school year. We are optimistic and hopeful that students and teachers will still be able to connect through various methods of communication.

I also want to thank our staff for their continued dedication to our students. We will share more details related to the school district as they become known. Working together will help us get through this unique time in life.

Sincerely,

David C. Dyb, Ed.D.

Superintendent
