Dear Students and Parents/Guardians,

My name is Mr. Scott Werfal and I am your Clintonville Middle School Principal.
I have been, and continue to be, a firm believer in the value of a great education.  As a student, I appreciated the camaraderie with my classmates and the sense of accomplishment when I had success.  As a teacher, I strove to teach my students to be accountable and to see the value of hard work.  As your principal, I will work collaboratively with students, staff members, and parents to raise expectations while also developing meaningful relationships.  I believe that students leaving our building should have a strong work ethic, be able to overcome adversity, and have the academic skills they will need to handle the increased academic rigor that they will undoubtedly encounter in high school and beyond.

Personally, I am a happily married father of three beautiful children. My wife teaches in the Menasha School District and our kids attend Appleton Schools. Our days and nights are filled with our kids activities including numerous athletic and social events. I am also the Head Football Coach here at Clintonville High School.

I am confident that this will be an outstanding school year and look forward to working with each and every one of you.  Together we can help each other grow professionally and personally while making it a great year and beyond!
Sincerely,
