Thank you for your interest in the Clintonville Public School District. We offer a quality education for children in 4K to 12th grade — youth who live in our schools’ boundaries and students outside the district who wish to join through the state’s Open Enrollment program. Our 4-year-old kindergarten is a half-day program; 5-year-old kindergarten is full day.
If your child will be 3 years old as of September 1, 2016 and you plan to enroll your child in 4K or Kindergarten in the next two years, please contact the Dellwood Early Learning Center. This helps us identify children who may need special services prior to entering school. It also gives us the opportunity to provide parents with recommendations about preparing their child to begin school successfully.
HOW TO ENROLL
Non-residents via Open Enrollment
Enrolling students 4K-12
- Identify your child's school.
Dellwood Early Learning Center: 4K
Rexford-Longfellow Elementary School: K to 4th graders
Clintonville Middle School: 5th to 8th graders
Clintonville High School: 9th to 12th graders
- Complete the necessary forms.
You can get the forms from your child's school office. Or, you can print them via the links below and fill them out.
- Bring the forms to the school your child will attend.
You will also need to bring your child's birth certificate and proof of residency (a current bill with your name and residence such as tax, utility, phone, cable).
NOTE: If you are enrolling a child to the high school, it is very helpful to bring transcripts and current classes/grades. Another big help for high schoolers and their parents: take a peek at our course booklet to get an idea of the classes we offer. Check out our course description book.
NON-RESIDENTS VIA OPEN ENROLLMENT:
Clintonville participates in the state’s Open Enrollment program, in which residents can apply to attend a district other than the one in which they reside.
The time period to apply for the 2017-18 school year is from February 6, 2017 through 4:00 p.m. on April 28, 2017.
Applications will be available online here starting February 6, 2017. Although on-line application is recommended, paper applications may be obtained from the state Department of Public Instruction and must be delivered (hand delivery is recommended) to the nonresident school district.
